The automotive industry is said to be undergoing a once-in-a-century transformation. With the advancement of globalization and the world becoming borderless, there is no doubt that the survival of companies will depend on the value they can provide, which is unique to humans, due to the development of technology and AI.

In order for the factory to survive as a "manufacturing" site 30 years from now, the "manufacturing" group working on the front lines of the manufacturing site will envision their own future, take initiative to work towards realizing that future, and transform into a group that creates new value.

The activities began with the questions, "What do we need while our rival companies are steadily improving their performance and growing? What are ROHM's strengths? What exactly does ROHM stand for?" In order to make ROHM a company that each employee can be proud of in front of their family and friends, this is an organizational development initiative across the entire organization to shift paradigms, change attitudes, rethink working styles, and transform the corporate culture.

- DENSO's technology contributes to the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake -

New business emergence activities that started from independent activities

More than three years have passed since the Great East Japan Earthquake, but the reality is that the Tohoku region is still in the midst of reconstruction. A group of volunteers who wanted to use the knowledge and expertise of DENSO to help with the reconstruction of the Tohoku region gathered together and established the DENSO Management Research Group.

The activity spread throughout the company and grew to the point where it was recognized by the company as a public organizational activity. Volunteers were recruited and the activity began with the aim of launching a new business that would support the reconstruction and recovery of the Tohoku region, making full use of DENSO's knowledge and technology.
